About the retreat

This retreat has been planned to give you an insight to healthy living in the shortest possible time. Designed for busy professionals, the “Elevate Your Cooking & Easting Habits” Bootcamp gives you easy to use tools that you can immediately implement and integrate in your daily life. Hosted by experienced professionals, the bootcamp is ideal for anybody who is looking for a lifestyle change. The group size is limited to 6 guests only at a time.

The bootcamp

1. Own your morning. Elevate your life.

Morning Ritual:
Build a habit of self-discipline, productivity, and integrity. Rise before dawn, meet your primal genius in this so-called victory hour. In the first 60 minutes of your day, you will move your body, sit with your mind and set your intention for a victorious day.

2. Food cooked and received with love intention and gratitude

We will recreate the way of cooking and eating. We go back to the roots and get back in touch with the ingredients and the whole process of cooking and eating.
Eating has become a pretty much automatic process. Oftentimes we eat for the sole purpose of staying alive. A quick 5 minutes breakfast before heading out to work, a 30 minutes lunch break, where we eat, go to the bank, do groceries and make some phone calls. And maybe a somewhat less stressful dinner-if so.
Sounds familiar?

And now imagine a world where you have the time to prepare your own food. Where you actually look at the ingredients, smell them, touch them. Where you prep and cook with a calm and curious mind, a heart filled with love and gratitude and a big smile. Where you awaken and feed your senses before you have one single bite. Where you eat to stay alive AND enjoy and relish your food.

Breakfast or brunch: prepping different smoothies, salads, spreads, and sweets to fuel your body and mind with energy and vitality for the day.

 

Lunch: preparing soup to keep up our liquid intake and the main course.

Dinner: starter, main course, and a light dessert

The menu will vary according to the season and what our body needs, on hot summer days we will create cooling, light meals, to make us feel energetic, light, and at ease.
On colder spring and autumn days we will focus on more filling, warming, cozy foods.

We aim to use seasonal, local, fresh, unprocessed ingredients to create simple, nourishing food, rich in nutrients and flavor, cooked and eaten with love, intention, and gratitude.

Daily activity:
Morning workout (fitness, yoga or pilates class)
Afternoon relaxing class (yin yoga, stretching, tai chi)

Market visit:
Shopping together for the given menu, later
everyone gets an hour to get lost in the market, see what is there, see the varieties of fruits, veggies, spices, etc (mindful market-ing ) and pick their own ingredients, let’s say 3-5 and we do intuitive cooking.

Retreat accommodation

The yoga retreat Finca is located in Porreres, in the southeast of Mallorca, 15 km from the beach. It has been restored and adapted for all requirements of a yoga retreat.
The estate is cataloged as a Wildlife Refugee by the Balearic Government, as it preserves the ecosystem and the native environment. The house is surrounded by 2000 m2 of a garden with native fauna (mostly birds), ponds and native forest with protected Mallorcan donkeys. If you want to get away from busy every day, we invite you to discover your personal paradise.

Location

The venue is located on the road between Porreres and Felantix, 5 km from both villages. They both offer a variety of restaurants with local and international dishes. Palma is 45 km away on very good road connections. Laid back coastal villages like Portocolom are only 15 km away. You can not miss visiting the monastery in Felanitx (Santuari de Sant Salvador) or in Porreres (Puig de Montesión) and the lovely beaches of the area. The Felanitx Sports Centre that is only 5 km from our house has an Olympic size heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, tennis, padel and basketball courts. The golf course Vall d’Or is just 14 km away. We highly recommend you to rent a car (we are happy to organize that for you) as it gives you the freedom to discover the area.

Destination

The ever-popular star of the Mediterranean, Mallorca has a sunny personality thanks to its ravishing beaches, azure views, remote mountains, and soulful hill towns. Fly to Palma de Mallorca (PMI) that is very easy to reach from all major European airports.

Lyrical Landscapes

For Miró it was the pure Mediterranean light. For hikers and cyclists, it is the Serra de Tramuntana’s formidable limestone spires and bluffs. For others, it is as fleeting as the almond blossom snowing on meadows in spring, or the interior’s vineyards in their autumn mantle of gold. Wherever your journey takes you, Mallorca never fails to seduce. Cars conga along the coast in single file for views so enticing the resort postcards to resemble cheap imitations. Even among the tourist swarms of mid-August you can find pockets of silence – trek to hilltop monasteries, pedal through honey-stone villages, sit under a night sky and engrave Mallorca’s lyrical landscapes onto memory.

Return to Tradition

Mallorca’s culture took a back seat to its beaches for decades, but the tides are changing. Up and down the island, locals are embracing their roots and revamping the island’s old manor houses, country estates and long-abandoned fincas (farmhouses, estates) into refined rural retreats. Spend silent moments among the olive, carob and almond groves and you’ll soon fall for the quiet charm of Mallorca’s hinterland. Summer is one long party and village festes (festivals) offer an appetizing slice of island life.

Coastal Living

Mallorca tops Europe’s summer holiday charts for many reasons, but one ranks above all others: the island’s stunning coast. Beyond the built-up resorts, coves braid the island like a string of beads – each one a reminder of why the island’s beaches have never lost their appeal. Go west for cliff-sculpted drama and sapphire seas, or head north for hikes to pine-flecked bays. Scope out deserted coves in the east, or dive off bone-white beaches in the south. With a room overlooking the bright-blue sea, sundown beach strolls to the backbeat of cicadas and restaurants open to the stars, you’ll soon click into the laid-back groove of coastal living.

Mediterranean Flavours

Eating out in Palma has never been more exciting, with chefs – inspired as much by their Mallorcan grandmothers as Mediterranean nouvelle cuisine – adding a pinch of creativity and spice to the city’s food scene. Inland, restaurants play up hale-and-hearty dishes, such as suckling pig spit-roast, to perfection, pairing them with locally grown wines. On the coast, bistros keep flavors clean, bright and simple, serving the catch of the day with big sea views.

Mallorca is a cycling paradise. If you are a professional cyclist or just want to cycle a few hours, we will find a suitable route for you. You can bring your own bike, rent one from our partners or participate on a guided tour.

Mallorca is one of the best locations in Europe for rock climbing and deep water soloing. We work with the best experts on the island to make your experience safe and unforgettable.

Our professional therapists offer a wide range of treatments to help you relax and feel happy in your body.

With the help of our meditation specialist, you will experience how to be fully present at the moment while participating in walks in nature.
Wine tastings
We value local gastronomy a lot. Our goal is to show you the healthy and seasonal delicacies our island has to offer. Wine culture is deeply rooted in Mallorca and the island has some really interesting wines that are worth a try!

Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be received in writing.
Each deposit paid (25% of retreat fee), is a non-refundable registration fee. In case of venue reservation a deposit of 30% has to be payed, that is non-refundable either.
Full refunds, less the standard deposit rate will be provided on cancellations, up to 90 days prior to the start date of the booked retreat.
A 50% refund, less the standard deposit rate will be provided on cancellations between 60-89 days prior to the start date of the booked retreat.
A 30% refund, less the standard deposit rate will be provided on cancellations between 30-59 days prior to the start date of the booked retreat.
No refund will be provided on cancellation between 29-0 days prior to the start date of the booked retreat.
No refund will be provided for premature leaving of the retreat or failure to arrive at the retreat for any reason.
All retreat payments are due 30 days prior to start date unless otherwise specified. Clients whose balances are not received by the 30-day deadline, risk forfeiting their retreat booking.
