About the retreat

This retreat has been planned to give you an insight to healthy living in the shortest possible time. Designed for busy professionals, the “Elevate Your Cooking & Eating Habits” Bootcamp gives you easy to use tools that you can immediately implement and integrate in your daily life. Hosted by experienced professionals, the bootcamp is ideal for anybody who is looking for a lifestyle change. The group size is limited to 8 guests only at a time. Located in Mallorca, available throughout the year. Book your retreat in Mallorca from July to December 2020.

COVID-19 update: all yoga, fitness and coaching sessions are outdoors. Unless you are traveling with a partner or a close friend, we automatically upgrade all bookings to private rooms. 

The retreat is also available as a private retreat in Mallorca for a group of friends, families or even individuals.

The bootcamp

1. Own your morning. Elevate your life.

Morning Ritual:
Build a habit of self-discipline, productivity, and integrity. Rise before dawn, meet your primal genius in this so-called victory hour. In the first 60 minutes of your day, you will move your body, sit with your mind and set your intention for a victorious day.

2. Food cooked and received with love intention and gratitude

We will recreate the way of cooking and eating. We go back to the roots and get back in touch with the ingredients and the whole process of cooking and eating.
Eating has become a pretty much automatic process. Oftentimes we eat for the sole purpose of staying alive. A quick 5 minutes breakfast before heading out to work, a 30 minutes lunch break, where we eat, go to the bank, do groceries and make some phone calls. And maybe a somewhat less stressful dinner-if so.
Sounds familiar?

And now imagine a world where you have the time to prepare your own food. Where you actually look at the ingredients, smell them, touch them. Where you prep and cook with a calm and curious mind, a heart filled with love and gratitude and a big smile. Where you awaken and feed your senses before you have one single bite. Where you eat to stay alive AND enjoy and relish your food.

Breakfast or brunch: prepping different smoothies, salads, spreads, and sweets to fuel your body and mind with energy and vitality for the day.

Lunch: preparing soup to keep up our liquid intake and the main course.

Dinner: starter, main course, and a light dessert

The menu will vary according to the season and what our body needs, on hot summer days we will create cooling, light meals, to make us feel energetic, light, and at ease.
On colder spring and autumn days we will focus on more filling, warming, cosy foods.

We aim to use seasonal, local, fresh, unprocessed ingredients to create simple, nourishing food, rich in nutrients and flavour, cooked and eaten with love, intention, and gratitude.

Daily activity:
Morning workout (fitness, yoga or pilates class)
Afternoon relaxing class (yin yoga, stretching, tai chi)

Market visit:
Shopping together for the given menu, later
everyone gets an hour to get lost in the market, see what is there, see the varieties of fruits, veggies, spices, etc (mindful market-ing ) and pick their own ingredients, let’s say 3-5 and we do intuitive cooking.

Retreat accommodation

The retreat is hosted in a beautiful mansion in the village of Alaró. The house consists of several apartments, that provide privacy for the participants. You can choose to share or have your own room, even your own apartment. The mansion has a beautiful yoga room, an outdoor pool, and a winery.

Location

This stunning and traditionally Mallorquin stately manor once belonged to the descendants of the Viscount of Bearn.
For centuries the house, the surrounding estates, the family and the town prospered thanks to the high-quality vineyards and olive groves nestling in the mountainous terrain around Alaro.
The quaint and beautiful town square is just around the corner from the manor. Fully immerse yourself in real local village life, wander through the picturesque winding streets and explore the many welcoming cafes and well-known restaurants and tapas bars. The stately home is now a gorgeous much loved holiday residence with self-contained apartments of different sizes. The whole house can be rented for private events or large group bookings. It is also possible to rent an apartment within the manor for a stay in the sun too. The manor has a garden with a lovely outdoor swimming pool and chillout sunbathing area. A large shared kitchen can be used for group dinners and breakfast. There is also a separate space for doing yoga and meditation.
