REGISTERED NUTRITIONIST, CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPIST AND MASTER PRACTITIONER IN EATING DISORDERS & OBESITY
Nicola’s route into nutrition initially started from a mental and emotional health angle. Having experienced anxiety and panic attacks in her 20s, she became fascinated about how the mind and body are intrinsically linked, and now works to help women understand the impact their emotions and mental wellbeing can have on their physical health.
Prior to working in functional medicine, Nicola was busy carving out a career in media so she fully understands the meaning of stress and plate spinning, and the negative impact this can have on your body when you don’t take the time to nourish yourself emotionally as well as through food!
Nicola is also a clinical hypnotherapist, a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders & Obesity, as well as a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine where she is currently completing her training to be a Certified Practitioner. She now runs a busy online clinic, Urban Wellness, where she supports women to take back control of their health, and have a better relationship with themselves and their bodies.
When not working with clients, you will probably find Nicola outdoors! She loves walking, gardening, growing her own herbs and vegetables and more recently has discovered SUP (stand-up paddle boarding!)
REGISTERED NUTRITIONIST, BREATHWORK AND THAI CHI TRAINER
Kerry is an avid traveller, lover of nature, and lives both drug-free and pain-free with autoimmune disease.
With almost 20 years’ experience in natural health, Kerry has followed her passion to assist healing and growth through natural means. After completing a degree in Psychology and running counselling and support groups in Cape Town, South Africa, she then went on to study Clinical Nutrition, and then a degree in Functional Medicine. Kerry has also worked as a massage therapist, a breath work instructor and now adds Tai Chi to her skills, and utilises this knowledge and experience to help her clients in managing chronic disease.
Kerry now runs a private practice, Nutri 360, based in Switzerland, and returns often to the island of Mallorca, after having spent three years living there immersed in the culture and beauty of the Mediterranean.
The house has 4 suites and 6 double rooms.
The rooms all face south and have spectacular views over the island of Mallorca. The architecture, decoration, and furniture contain references to the history of the house, combined with more modern and avant-garde elements. Each of the rooms has been given a traditional Mallorcan woman’s name in honor of the Cota sisters, the original owners of the house. We hope this small tribute to them will help to promote and keep alive the cultural heritage they bequeathed to the village.
All rooms are equipped with large and comfortable twin beds. The suites have a living room area with a sofabed, and can be upgraded into triples.
The house has an outdoor pool with impressive views of the island. Just spend the day chilling in the pool or in one of the terraces or gardens that all offer the same view! Also, there is a wine cellar for guests with a wide selection of local and national wines. The house also has indoor gym space, that can be used for playing squash, yoga classes or any fitness activity.
Furthermore, it has recently been equipped with a sauna, outdoor jacuzzi and a massage room, that makes it an ideal yoga retreat location in Mallorca.
The picturesque town of Selva sits at the base of the Tramuntana Mountain range. This impressive backdrop adds another dimension to an already attractive little village. It provides visitors with relaxation and seclusion while experiencing a slice of genuine rural Mallorca. Selva has retained its pre-tourist feel, making it a virtually unique proposition in a world of increasing development.
It’s relaxed vibe makes it ideal for a yoga retreat location, as well as a great starting point for hiking and cycling tours.
