About the house

A stylish boutique villa from the end of the 19th century in the mountain village of Selva. After the extensive renovation in 1997, the house still keeps its original flair. The house is located in the upper part of Selva, right under the gothic church. All rooms face south and have spectacular views of the Bay of Alcudia and over the island of Mallorca. If you are looking for a comfortable, high end retreat location in Mallorca, this is your place to be. Furthermore, the house has an indoor gym / yoga room with wooden floor, a massage room, and outdoor pool and jacuzzi and extensive gardens and terraces.

Retreat Accommodation

The house has 4 suites and 6 double rooms.

The rooms all face south and have spectacular views over the island of Mallorca. The architecture, decoration, and furniture contain references to the history of the house, combined with more modern and avant-garde elements. Each of the rooms has been given a traditional Mallorcan woman’s name in honor of the Cota sisters, the original owners of the house. We hope this small tribute to them will help to promote and keep alive the cultural heritage they bequeathed to the village.

All rooms are equipped with large and comfortable twin beds. The suites have a living room area with a sofabed, and can be upgraded into triples.

Amenities

The house has an outdoor pool with impressive views of the island. Just spend the day chilling in the pool or in one of the terraces or gardens that all offer the same view! Also, there is a wine cellar for guests with a wide selection of local and national wines. The house also has indoor gym space, that can be used for playing squash, yoga classes or any fitness activity.

Furthermore, it has recently been equipped with a sauna, outdoor jacuzzi and a massage room, that makes it an ideal yoga retreat location in Mallorca.

The Food

At this retreat location we can offer private catering with a tailor made menu for your group’s dietary needs. Our chefs are working with local, seasonal, organic ingredients and lay a string focus on healthy diets as well as showing you the traditional Mallorcan cuisine.

The village and surroundings also offer some outstanding dining experiences. Restaurant Miceli in Selva (a few minutes walk from our door) is worth trying.

If you are interested in gastornomy, we highly recommend you to visit the iconic Ca Na Toneta in the nearby village of Caimari.

Location

The picturesque town of Selva sits at the base of the Tramuntana Mountain range. This impressive backdrop adds another dimension to an already attractive little village. It provides visitors with relaxation and seclusion while experiencing a slice of genuine rural Mallorca. Selva has retained its pre-tourist feel, making it a virtually unique proposition in a world of increasing development.

It’s relaxed vibe makes it ideal for a yoga retreat location, as well as a great starting point for hiking and cycling tours.
